 CITY OF SAC CITY AQUATIC CENTERThe Sac City Aquatic Center is Currently Closed for the SeasonOutdoor Pool Closing Policy (EFFECTIVE May 2003)Weather The Sac City Aquatic Staff is authorized to close the outdoor pool and clear it of all patrons, on a temporary basis, when it determines that inclement weather threatens the health or safety of pool patrons. Thunder and lightning will always be considered a condition that threatens the safety of our pool patrons. The Staff shall reopen the pool within 60 minutes after the last indication of inclement weather, so long as at least 60 minutes of general swimming time are remaining. If the air temperature is 70 degrees or below one hour prior to opening, the pool will not open as scheduled. Once the temperature reaches 70 degrees, the pool will open at the top of the next hour. If the air temperature has not reached 70 degrees by 4 pm, the pool shall remain closed for the day. Low Attendance The Sac City Aquatic Staff is authorized to close the outdoor pool after 6 pm when less than 10 customers are present. The Sac City Aquatic Staff is authorized to reduce staff on duty or shut down slides when less than 10 customers are present. Maintenance The Sac City Aquatic Staff is authorized to close the outdoor pool as needed for equipment maintenance.
